From a small mountain community in Southern California, Prepare Them! brings to parents and churches a wide array of educational resources and services geared towards pre-schoolers and early readers.

The Director and Founder of Prepare Them! is Matred Baker who has over 40 years of experience with teaching and working with young children. Mrs. Baker is affectionaly known as "Mamama" to her kids and "Ma Baker" to many parents. She spent many years as a teacher at Trula E. Wade Christian Academy, a self-supporting school. She has also been a leader in the children's ministry department in several churches, spent years as a substitute teacher, conducted campmeetings for children, and she was the owner/director of Precious Memories Daycare, Level 2. Mrs. Baker was also trained in accounting and business at J.F. Drake Technical College in Huntsville, AL and The Women's Business School in Boston, MA.

Matred Baker founded Prepare Them! after she realized that there was a staggering need for parents to have a spiritual home-schooling approach for their children. What began as a local ministry, she hopes will quickly become one of the most sought after in Southern California, even the U.S.
