Soon after his decision to follow God, David had the opportunity to work as a Bible Worker in many evangelistic crusades around the country. He eventually became team leader and then trained as an evangelist and pastor. Understanding what lead him to give his own heart to the Lord, David's greatest joy is conducting evangelistic campaigns. He has played an intimate role in bringing Pastor Perch has been married for 12 years to his wife, Arminda, and has three sons. My Gospel Workers is a mission driven, nonprofit organization founded in 2007 by Pastor David A. Perch. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts and is the youngest of four children. Although he was brought up in a Christian home by a God-fearing mother, he fell away from God at an early age and became pulled down by the vices and stresses of inner-city life. He eventually became a member of one of the largest gangs on the east coast. The Lord, however, had other plans for David's life. As a courtesy to his praying mother, he attended a Week of Prayer conducted in 1995 at her local church. It was at this Week of Prayer that he unexpectedly answered the call to change his life, and the Lord worked miraculously to deliver him from a dire situation and then saved him as a "brand plucked out of the fire" (Zechariah 3:2). hundreds, even thousands, of people to a knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. By the grace of God, He still works humbly, doing evangelism wherever he is called, and through the power of the Holy Spirit, he continues to "press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 3:14). He firmly believes that an individual and a church must be active in doing God's work if they are to progress and move forward in this gospel message. The aim of his ministry is to work with and train other ministries, groups and churches to bring the gospel "to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people" (Revelation 14:6).
"And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry" (1 Timothy 1:12).
